Guide

Fracking Liquid is a fluid made in a chemical processor from Air, Olumite Gas, and Water. A 5 second cycle turns 30 Air, 10 Olumite Gas, and 60 Water into 100 fluid, so the line lives or dies on those three feeds.

Players ship it to remote ore veins. Once a vein is set up, feeding Fracking Liquid later can restart it, which is why many factories keep a dedicated liquid hub next to olumite storage instead of waiting until a deposit runs dry.

Typical logistics are trains or pipelines: liquid in, ore rubble out. Remote stations often ride the same run as steam or power so the fracking pad does not starve when it sits far from the main plant.

Tipps

  • Size Air and Water before you parallel chemical processors. A missing Air intake or a shared Water line is the usual stall, not the 5 second craft itself.
  • Keep Fracking Liquid next to your olumite distribution so vein restarts do not wait on a long, unlabeled fluid run.
  • For distant veins, plan a dedicated inbound fluid car or pipeline and an outbound rubble train. Mixing those flows with the starter base is how remote pads go idle.
  • Label pumps and transformers on the liquid network. Players who already tagged those transformers spend less time chasing a dead vein that is only missing power on a pump.

FAQ

What actually consumes Fracking Liquid?

It is fed to ore veins / fracking pads, not into another chemical recipe. After a vein is prepared, sending more liquid can restart extraction so you do not have to keep scouting new deposits.

How do players move Fracking Liquid to remote veins?

Common setups use pipeline pumps from an olumite / liquid hub, or a short train that brings Fracking Liquid (and sometimes steam) in and hauls rubble out. Set the veins up early so the same hub can keep them alive later.
